What Is CUET Entrance Exam?

CUET stands for Central Universities Entrance Test. This Entrance exam was held for the Undergraduates seeking to enroll in a particular university/ institute in India. It features several Programs in all categories Arts, Science and Commerce. For conducting efficient, transparent, and international standards tests to assess the competency of candidates for admissions to premier higher education institutions.

On April 6, 2022, registration for the CUET (CUCET) 2022 (Common University Entrance Test 2022) will open. CUET applications will be accepted until May 6, 2022, by the National Testing Agency (NTA). CUCET was the national entrance exam (Central Universities Common Entrance Test). For admission to various under-graduate/integrated, post-graduate, and research programs at centrally-funded universities, the NTA will conduct the test in numerous shifts over multiple days. The exam notification has been updated, and the updated details of the CUET Notification may be found below.

Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CU-CET), for admission to different programs of the participating Central Universities, will provide a single-window opportunity to the students to seek admission in these participating Universities / Institute(s) across the country.

Structure of CUET

How to do the CUET Exam?

To accomplish your enrollment in your dream university, you must clear CUCET/CUET exam. It would be best to focus on your niche as you prepare for the future. After choosing the correct program, you should look for the University/institute requirements. Then you should set up your goal to clear CUET/CUCET. Before registration for it, check out the courses offered, seats available and eligibility, etc. There are five steps to registering yourself for the entrance exam.

Step1. Search for www.cuet.Samarth.ac.in lookup for the application form, you’ll generate the application number and password after filling the form.

Step2. After that, there would be an application form that appears. Fill that form with all the required details, Choose the city for examination and upload the images of documents(10kb to 200kb) and Digital signature (4kb to 30 kb)

Step3 After submitting the application form, it will redirect to the payment portal. You can complete the transaction and download the receipt for it. After the payment, you will turn to the confirmation page. You can download and print a copy of the application form you submitted.

Step 4 The information on the form should be correct as NTA will treat it as final, and NTA can consider no change request.

Step 5. You’ll receive the message for confirmation on your Email address and Mobile no. with the one you registered for earlier.

1. B.Com(P)

B.com (P) is an undergraduate program for commerce students. B.com Offers students to make their careers in Finance and business fields. Students pursuing this course aim to accomplish their careers in trading and Business. There is one drawback to Bachelor in Commerce program if we compare it to the bachelor in commerce honors, students can’t specify one subject like Accounting. Major Jobs available are Accountant, Event manager, Budget Analyst, Lecturer, Human resource, Auditor, Human Resource Development Executive, Consultant, etc.

B.com Honors are an undergraduate program for a commerce student, specifically in accounting. Along with This program, Students can pursue Charter accounting with it. With so much competition around, the cut-off of this course is one of the highest all over DU, ranging from 99% to 91% in top colleges such as SRCC, LSR, and Hindu College, among others. There are some major jobs available after Cost Accountant, Tax Consultant, Company Secretary, Sales Analyst, Investment Banker, Financial Analyst, Stock Broker, Chartered Accountant, etc. 

Format for CUET in B.com Hons is two main subjects from CUET Subject list  English as the main language from CUET language list and Maths or Accounts as the main domain.

6. B.A(Hons.)Economics

BA Hons is a three-year undergraduate degree program. An entrance examination or a merit list (produced by the college) determines admission standards. The Entrance test is usually required for top colleges like BHU. The candidate must have a 10+2 degree with a grade point average of 55 percent from any recognized board. BA Hons is designed to assist students in developing high-level talents, variety, independence, research experience, and communication skills. Candidates can also choose between a master’s degree and a doctoral degree.

BHU UET, DUET, PUBDET, IPU CET, JNUEE, and other BA Hons Entrance Exams are other examples. Examination standards can differ from one college to the next. So, during an interview for BA Hons, students are typically asked questions from class 12 and general knowledge.

7. B.Sc(Hons.) Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, & Mathematics

The Bachelor of Science in Physics, or BSc Physics, is a three-year undergraduate program covering the fundamentals of physics and its many aspects. The three-year program is broken into six semesters, and it delves deeply into the specific scientific fields of physics, mathematics, and chemistry. And any candidate who has completed high school, i.e. 10+2, with a grade of 60 percent or more in PCM/PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology), is eligible to enroll in this program.
